Feed Your Fire

 

Ahh, fire.  The most misunderstood of the 4 elements.  And even worse when it comes to fire signs.  We're often labeled hot-headed (true), angry (when appropriate) & "spicy" but that's only half the story.  Take the properties of fire for instance:  bright, hot & destructive.  But destruction isn't always a bad thing.  Sometimes it's necessary for rebirth & change.  Fire can turn thousand-year-old redwood trees to ash in a flash or warm freezing bodies around a campfire.  It cracks the sky open in the form of lightning & brightens your day like the sun.  Heat & fire are needed to cook and purify our food, but they can also scorch and burn it, turning a juicy piece of meat to black crispy char.  

 In human form fire can be fanatical and electrifying, dramatic & lustful.  But it's ALWAYS intense.  And it rubs off on others in our orbit.  It can be felt in the chemistry between two people--the "spark" as they call it.  Like the element that represents her birth month, Goddess Tara is a true fire sign, containing both brightness/warmth as well as explosiveness & white hot heat within.  But this is what makes me such a mighty and powerful Goddess:  my ability to spark change with my warm energy and, when necessary, to turn up the heat & get you back on the right path.  And if you're really brave you might even indulge me in fireplay or hot wax pouring.  Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you.  Not too bad anyway...
