Get a Better Scam
So you've all heard the shpiel before: friendly man slides into a sugar baby's inbox smooth as silk promising a no-strings payment for "nothing in return". Sounds great! He sends the large payment only for the heartless sugar baby to go AWOL & never speak to him again. He's blocked on all social sites. What the hell happened?
Not that. Here's why:
Think logically for a moment. How does this scenario make ANY sense? It doesn't. For a "taker" to run off after a "giver" actually follows through & sends a tangible payment doesn't happen in real life; it only happens in Scamland. No woman--let alone a sugar baby--runs from a proven money source without damn good reason--I'll get to those in a minute.
Scamland is a place (it can be Twitter or any other app/website) where roles are reversed & so-called "sugar daddy" or mommy pages ask sugar BABIES for a deposit. You know, to "verify" themselves or prove loyalty & earn their trust. Never mind that the sugar Daddy/Mommy has provided no proof of concept themselves, speak broken English despite claiming to live in places like Alabama or Virginia (sure thing, Kumar ππ») & all work from the same playbook. No, we're expected to buy this drivel hook, line & sinker. And I assume some newbies do or else these snakes wouldn't be so prevalent in this community--outnumbering real sugar daddies like 70:1.
Hence this post.

"At least make it believable." Exactly. |
*What exceptions, you ask? What could possibly cause a sugar baby to run off and disappear after receiving payment from a generous Daddy? Perhaps she's facing threats of extortion, is being stalked by him IRL, has been outed as a sex worker or otherwise feels unsafe. Or maybe the Daddy is changing the ground rules mid-game & becoming creepy, possessive or demanding/degrading. Outside of that, this scenario is fictional & doesn't happen. We don't run off after a single payment without GOOD reason.
While we're on the topic of violent crimes against sex workers, it should be said that these horrors (revenge porn, doxxing, sextortion, physical violence, etc) are the exact reason it's NOT safe for women to hand out their personal info online. Unlike the fictional scenario described above, violence against sex workers is all too real. Serial killers often target sex workers, from the Green River Killer to the Grim Sleeper. So stop asking for face pics or sensitive info like bank name, address or phone #. It's not that we're "scamming you," it's that safety always comes first and you're endangering us every time you demand these kinds of intrusive things. Stop it.
To all sugar babies/daddies, subs/Doms & similar on Twitter: Quit feigning ignorance & get real. You can "promise" til you're blue in the face but actions > words. It's not on US to send you anything in terms of payment. Hence the term sugar baby. Play your part or go play in traffic. π€Έπ
